The Identity of the Two Witnesses

I have a mini case of writer’s block at the moment as I try to write about the future prospects of Europe as a potential superpower and write about the Bayside Prophecies. In lieu of these two topics, I’ll share with you my thoughts on the Two Witnesses who will appear on Earth during the end times, including their identity.

Psalms 83's Placement in the End Times Puzzle

The article on the Bayside Prophecies and my thoughts on the potential for Europe to become a future superpower are taking longer than I expected to write. In lieu of those two articles I’ll share with you my thoughts about Psalms 83, which is a chapter that has caught many Christians’ attention.

U.S. Taxpayers to Help Bailout Greece?

There is a major aspect of the ongoing situation in Greece that I feel is being ignored by the American news media. The American news media acknowledges that the IMF and European countries would be responsible for contributing money to rescue Greece. However, the American news media has failed to acknowledge that any IMF contribution to help rescue Greece is likely going to involve a substantial amount of U.S. taxpayer money. Yes, that is correct… U.S. taxpayers are likely going to help bailout another country!

The Importance of Understanding the Past (Editorial)

I remember attempting to read the beginning of a book called The Causes of War for my Scientific Study of War class in the basement of my school’s library nearly five years ago. I say “attempting to read” because I was really struggling to stay awake and struggling to concentrate after waking up at 4AM that day. After an hour I managed to reach Page 12 where I encountered a startling passage from a letter written by a Scottish man in 1848 (a time of Revolution in some European countries). The following passage stood out to me so much that I remember it to this date:

“Since the smoke of Waterloo rolled away, no such important events have taken place as those of 1848. The present is a chaos, the future a mystery. Even in Scotland, far from the street fighting of so many continental cities, many of the devout were predicting that ‘some mighty change, if not the end of time, is at hand’ and that in a few years ‘Christ as a King shall appear upon this earth’”.[1]

Signs of the End Epilogue: New Age Birth Pangs

The talk about birth pangs is not limited to just Christian circles. The forces of evil also talk about birth pangs affecting Earth. In this blog post I will give you an idea of how the forces of evil portray birth pangs and give you an idea of when they suggest the end times could begin.

Signs of the End: Summary of Findings

Over the past several days I have analyzed several things that the Bible identified as indicators of whether we are approaching the end times. In this entry I summarize what these indicators are telling us and give you an idea of when I believe the end times will begin.

A Preview of Topics to Come: Completing the Signs of the End Series

In the coming days I will try to conclude the Signs of the End series. The ending of this series should at least include:

  • A summary of my research findings and what these findings mean when trying to find when the end times will begin.
  • The forces of evil’s interpretation of birth pangs

I also plan to write about the Bayside Prophecies, which is a very controversial Mary apparition that took place in New York a few decades ago, and my thoughts about the potential for the European Union to become a superpower in the future. In addition, I may alter the new blog design a little bit. Of course, everything is subject to change if something unexpected happens…

Is It Biblically Possible for Greece to Leave the EU?

Update: Greece has requested aid, but this analysis is by no means obsolete yet since reluctant European countries must agree to fund this bailout.

When I woke up on Thursday morning and read about how a member of Germany’s main opposition party supported the expulsion of Greece from the Eurozone (the group of countries that are allowed to use the Euro) [i] I began to wonder whether it was possible for Greece to not be a part of the European Union (EU) when the end times begin. Here is my current thinking on the matter…

Signs of the End Part 7: False Christs

In Part 6 of the Signs of the End I went over another indicator/sign that Christ told us to watch for as we approached the end times: Commotions (political instability). In this latest installment I will go over another indicator: false Christs.

Why I Take Maitreya Seriously as a Threat

Pre-Article Disclaimer for Newer Readers: If you are reading this blog for the first time or are not totally familiar with my work, I am a 100% Christian writer who analyzes things from a Christian point of view. I sometimes research into what the spiritual forces of evil are up to in hopes of gleaning information to help us Christians figure out what is going on or to figure out what Satan has planned. You can read more about why I dare consider these unbiblical sources at the following link Now on to the article...

I know that some people who read this blog are skeptical about whether Maitreya (the leader of a group of beings known as the “Ascended Masters”-a group of beings mentioned in Ephesians 6:12 as the spiritual wickedness in high places), Benjamin Creme (Maitreya’s official spokesmen), etc should be taken seriously. The Bible warns us that we are going to see False Christs like Maitreya prior to the start of the end times. I understand why a person would be skeptical because it is not easy to see what distinguishes Maitreya between a “typical” False Christ and something greater than that.

In this blog post I want to share with you a few things that turned me from a skeptic to someone who now sees Maitreya as not your ordinary False Christ.

Signs of the End Part 6: Commotions

In Part 5 of the Signs of the End I went over two more birth pang indicators: wars and rumors of war. In this latest installment I will go over another birth pang indicator: Commotions.

Signs of the End Part 5: Wars and Rumors of War

In Part 4 of the Signs of the End I went two major birth pang indicators: pestilence and famine. In this latest installment I will go over two more birth pang indicators that are interrelated: wars and rumors of war.

Like with previous birth pang indicators, if we are near the end times we should be seeing a noticeable change in the prevalence of war and rumors of war. I will start by looking at trends in war before looking at rumors of war.

A Preview of Topics to Come: Signs of the End Continued

In the coming days I plan to continue the ongoing series about the Signs of the End.  Here are a few of the topics I plan to write about while continuing this series:

  • Wars and Rumors of Wars
  •  Revolutions
  • False Christs
  • The forces of evil’s interpretation of birth pangs

Beyond the continuation of the Signs of the End series there are a few more topics that I have planned in the coming days, including my thoughts about the potential for the European Union to be a major power in the future.  In addition, I plan to implement a new blog design which I hope will be more user-friendly.  Of course, everything is subject to change if something unexpected happens…

Update On the Blog

I am currently working on redesigning the blog so that it becomes more user-friendly and so it has more features for people.  I hope to get the new design completed and implemented soon.

In the meantime I still plan to post regularly in the coming days, including more installments of the Signs of the End series.  There is still plenty to write about with regards to that.

Thank you to all who read this blog.  May the Lord bless you.

Is Obama Turning His Back on Israel? (Editorial)

A couple of headlines over the past few days has given me the impression that Barack Obama may be prepared to turn his back on Israel.

Signs of the End Part 4: Famine and Pestilence

In Part 3 of Signs of the End I showed how global earthquake activity is at its highest level on record, which is an indication that the end times is approaching. In this installment I examine whether trends in famine and pestilence are sending a similar message.

Signs of the End Part 3: Earthquakes

Some Christians view recent earthquakes in Haiti, Chile, and now Tibet as signs that we are living in the end times or signs that the world is experiencing birth pangs. I feel it is best to take a look at historical trends in earthquake activity before making any conclusions about whether we are living in unusual times. In this installment of Signs of the End I examine how current earthquake activity compares with past earthquake activity.

Benjamin Creme Addresses Raj Patel Speculation: Creme Live Interview Notes 4/13/10

Benjamin Creme, the official spokesmen of Maitreya (the leader of a group of beings called the Ascended Masters or “the spiritual wickedness in high places” mentioned in Ephesians 6:12), granted a 90 minute live interview on a Blogtalk Radio program. The interview had a lot of chatter between the interviewer and Creme, but there were a few things that stood out.

Signs of the End Part 2: Birth Pangs Overview

In Part 1 I gave an overview of indicators relating to Israel that we need to look at to determine how close we are to living in the end times. In Part 2 I give an overview of some indicators Christ specifically said we need to look at. Much of this analysis was previously included in a post a few months ago so I apologize if you’ve already read it. I feel it is important to include this analysis again so that everyone is on the same page for Part 3.

Signs of the End Part 1: Developments in Israel

Thank you to everyone who voted in the poll and to everyone who left comments. Your feedback is appreciated. The poll results were what I expected. The vast majority of people reading this blog believe the end times will begin within the next five years. A relatively large portion of people believe the end times could begin within the next year or less.

In the coming days I will go over several indicators we can look at to determine whether we are already living in or are approaching the end times. Today I will give you an overview of indicators relating to Israel that we need to look at.

A Preview of Topics to Come: Signs of the End

There is still a few hours left to vote on when you think the end times will begin. I encourage you to vote if you have not voted already. You can vote here.

The purpose of the poll is to help me understand what people think about the future. The reason I want to understand what people think about the future is that I plan in the coming days to provide some information and data that I hope will put today into historical perspective.

If we are approaching the end times the signs that Christ mentioned should be more prevalent today than they were in the past. I plan provide some information and data to help you see whether these signs are more prevalent today than they were in the past in the coming days.

In addition, Benjamin Creme has an interview this coming Tuesday (April 13) at 3:00PM/EST on Blogtalk Radio. If Creme says anything notable you will be alerted to it.

Looking For Feedback: When Do You Think the End Times Begin?

I am curious about your expectations of the future. More specifically, I am interested in hearing when you believe the end times will begin. Below I have a poll where you can select when you believe the end times will begin and comments are enabled if you would like to expand on your answer. The poll closes on Monday so hurry and vote if you want your voice heard. Your answers will help me get a better feel of my readers.

I'm not sure if people looking at this from Feedburner, Facebook, or from E-Mail will be able to see the following poll so I apologize in advance if you cannot see the poll. You can still leave comments and if you want to vote just go to the blog.

When do you expect the end times to begin?

Sovereign Debt Bomb Ticking

There’s been a lot of news this week, but the headline that stands out more to me than any other, including Barack Obama’s announcement that he wants to restrain America’s use of nuclear weapons, is the Bank of International Settlements’s (BIS) warning that a sovereign debt crisis is nearing its “boiling point” across the globe. The BIS identified the U.S., Great Britain, Japan, and most countries in the Eurozone as countries that are in trouble.

My View on People Who Claim to be a Prophet

I want to give you my opinion on people who claim to be a prophet because there are too many people out there who claim to be one (like Joe Coleman). In fact, I’ve encountered several websites where so-called “prophecy experts” identify themselves as prophets. I have even seen a few websites where a person uses the title “prophet” as part of their name.

The Shroud of Turin: A Major End Time Deception In the Works

The Shroud of Turin is a controversial (14 foot long by 3.5 foot wide) burial cloth that has been the topic of conversation for several centuries. The Shroud of Turin is a “mysterious” item because there is an image of a face that many people feel resembles Jesus’s face on the shroud along with body wounds that appear to have come from crucifixion. Proponents believe the Shroud of Turin is the burial cloth that Jesus Christ’s body was wrapped in after His crucifixion. Meanwhile, detractors believe that the cloth is not authentic or is even a hoax.

My View on Images of Jesus

Tomorrow I plan to post a major entry on the Shroud of Turin. Today I’ll give you my opinion about the pictorial representation of Jesus as preparation for tomorrow’s big post. Some of you may already be familiar with my opinion on the issue, but there are people who have not heard it before. It is best everyone knows it before I post the entry on the Shroud of Turin.

Obama’s Crusade Against Nuclear Weapons (Editorial)

Last week the U.S. and Russia agreed to disarm some of their nuclear arsenal. Today we learn that Russia has the right to opt-out of the agreement.

However, the major story today is that Barack Obama plans to place restrictions on the use of America’s nuclear arsenal. If Obama has his way the U.S. would not be “allowed” to use its nuclear weapons in self-defense against a non-nuclear country even if that country inflicts a devastating cyber, biological, or chemical attack on the U.S. as long as it is cooperating with the Nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty. The New York Times suggests that this new policy could be another step towards achieving Obama’s goal of a world without nuclear weapons.

Every time I hear Barack Obama talk about reducing the size of the America’s nuclear arsenal or restricting the use of it I think back to a prediction New Age author Alice Bailey (who worked directly with an Ascended Master named Djwhal Khul) made. Bailey predicted that there will be a regulated disarmament before the rise of a New World Order. Here is exactly what Bailey wrote:

“In the preparatory period for the new world order there will be a steady and regulated disarmament. It will not be optional. No nation will be permitted to produce and organize any equipment for destructive purposes or to infringe the security of any other nation. One of the first tasks of any future peace conference will be to regulate this matter and gradually see to the disarming of the nations”.[i]

We are not close to seeing something like Bailey predicted yet if Bailey’s prediction comes true. If Bailey’s prediction comes true it most likely is not going to take place for at least another several years from now. It’s quite possible that Obama is just trying to create a world without nuclear weapons. However, I imagine that the forces of evil are not fretting over Obama’s crusade against nuclear weapons.

Who is Abaddon/Apollyon? Part 2

In Part 1 I gave an overview of the fifth trumpet and tried to dispel the notion that the locusts that will torment the people on Earth are demonic creatures. I ended Part 1 by mentioning that the locusts will have a leader whose is referred to as “Abaddon” in Hebrew and “Apollyon” in Greek. In this part I’ll give you the identity of who I believe is Abaddon/Apollyon.

A Series of Mary Apparitions Ongoing in Ireland

Disclaimer: For newer readers, please refer to this article on my research concerning apparitions so you don't get the wrong impression of what I'm saying: Link

A reader alerted me that there is some mischief going on in Ireland. Apparently, there is currently a series of alleged Marian apparitions that is attracting local press and is attracting thousands of religious pilgrims to a religious site. Here is picture from the first of the many apparitions so far.

Who is Abaddon/Apollyon? Part 1

A reader suggested that I share my thoughts on a figure mentioned in the Book of Revelation 9 named Abaddon. Over the couple of posts I’ll try my best to show you who I think is Abaddon. In Part 1 I will try to clear a misconception about the locusts that will torment those on Earth.

Another Preview of Topics to Come

Here is a preview of some of the topics I likely will touch on in the coming days

  • Who is Abaddon, King of the Locusts in Revelation 9 (2 Parts)
  • My opinion on the images of Jesus
  • The Shroud of Turin
  • My opinion on people who call themselves “prophets”

Beyond that I’m still researching other topics I’ve been asked to write about recently. One of topics I definitely want to write about is how long I feel the “tribulation” is going to last because there is so much confusion about this topic.

Of course, this is all subject to change depending on what events happen in the coming days. This week the U.S. Treasury is going to attempt to sell $82 billion in debt to investors. If you read my blog post about U.S. Government debt last week you know I’ll be watching this event closely.

The Benjamin Creme interview I wrote about a couple of weeks ago is now available to watch on a website called ustream.

  • Creme mentions that Maitreya has appeared 8 times on American television at 7 minutes and 20 seconds into the interview.
  • Creme says that Maitreya wants people to know that everything is going perfectly to “the plan” at 54 minutes and 20 seconds into the interview.

The interview is in English, but there is a French translator to translate everything that Creme says.

I’m still looking for some feedback for the questions I posed in the previous post. If you have something to say feel free to comment. I want thank those who’ve commented so far and I hope to see more feedback from those who haven’t yet commented.

Looking For More Feedback

Once again I’m looking for some feedback. This time there are a couple of things I’d like to know from you.

First, I’d like to know if people are having a difficult time reading what’s on this blog due to the “artistic” format of the blog. In other words, is everything legible? I wonder because some people have different levels of eyesight. I have no problem reading what’s on this blog because I have 20/20 vision, but just because I can read what’s on here doesn't mean that someone else can.

Also, I’d like to know why people come to read blogs like this. Some blogs are geared towards reporting the news of the day while others use their blogs to tell people their opinion. At this moment, I think this blog has a little bit of everything. I’m not sure whether I should gear the blog more towards more news reporting, more towards opinion-based pieces, more towards reporting research findings, more towards answering people’s questions, keep things as is, or do something else.

I appreciate your feedback. Your feedback helps me to know what I should work on to make things better for you. You can leave your feedback in the comments section. In the comments section you have the option of leaving your feedback anonymously if you're uncomfortable with identifying who you are.

Alternative Proof of Christ’s Death and Resurrection

If you’re reading this blog entry you most likely believe that Jesus Christ was crucified on the cross and was later resurrected from the dead and you most likely only need the Bible to convince you of this. However, just in case anyone needs additional assurance that Christ was crucified on the cross and resurrected from the dead, I’m going to give you "proof" that this happened using a source you probably least expect: the forces of evil.

I wanted to post something that is garnering headlines on some websites and blogs because I feel this is not getting enough attention from the mainstream media (probably because they rather pretend this never happened).

Dating the Crucifixion: Wednesday or Friday

A few months ago I was challenged by a reader to examine a long-held assumption by many Christians that Jesus Christ’s crucifixion occurred on a Friday. The individual cited several passages in the Bible they believed proved that Wednesday was the true date of the crucifixion. I examined the issue fairly as I could and now present the results of my study in this blog post.
