I feel much better today after a difficult afternoon yesterday. Thanks everyone for the comments. They helped a lot… Today I just want to share a significant story that I think is being underreported by the media and make a brief comment about it...
Like Egyptians and Tunisians, Syrians are utilizing social media websites like Twitter and Facebook to plan major protests against their government. The protests are scheduled for February 4 and February 5.
Most of the media outlets reporting about the upcoming Syrian protests are just mentioning that there are people organizing them. However, the following link shows what the actual webpages Syrians are using to organize the upcoming protests look like and provides links to these webpages in case a person wishes to monitor the growing support for these protests in the next few days:
I think people should pay some attention to what happens in Syria over the next few days because Syria is one of the most repressive regimes in the region and in the world. If Syrians are able to resist their government like people in Tunisia and Egypt have resisted their respective governments then you could see people living under equally repressive or even more repressive regimes elsewhere in the region (like in Saudi Arabia where public gatherings are illegal) rise up using Egypt, Tunisia, and Syria as inspiration.
It seems we live in interesting times…

i wonder if this unrest could give rise to the Antichrist unbeknownst to the world. Seems like a whole lots changing quick all over the world.
The ongoing events are leading to something... What's going on now in Northern Africa and the Mideast is perhaps the most significant development in a long time. My concern in the short-term is that it spreads to Saudi Arabia. Then there would be major global economic and financial repercussions. I believe much more has to happen in the long-term before the rise of Antichrist.
I understand that you are young and therefore the public's feedback is important to you, and that you are sensitive to what people say. All I can advise you is, that you seem to be wise beyond your years. You have spent your energies on researching bible prophecy and I believe you should have more faith in yourself and God's influences on you, and less concern about what other PEOPLE think. Just keep "doing what you feel inspired to do" and I believe that the Holy Spirit will continue to inspire you.
Don't EVER lose confidence in yourself due to other people, simply ask God and the Holy Spirit to continue to guide you...and then "let it go."
Your recent posts ARE very significant. Let us all not forget:
Isaias 10:9
Are not my princes as so many kings? is not Calano as Charcamis: and Emath as Arphad? is not Samaria as Damascus?
Isaias 17:1
The burden of Damascus. Behold Damascus shall cease to be a city, and shall be as a ruinous heap of stones.
Jeremias 49:23
Against Damascus. Emath is confounded and Arphad: for they have heard very bad tidings, they are troubled as in the sea: through care they could not rest.
Jeremias 49:24
Damascus is undone, she is put to flight, trembling hath seized on her: anguish and sorrows have taken her as a woman in labour.
Thanks for your comment your empathy.
I should be more cognizant that this all comes with the territory. Even the people I critique go through this and they don't let it bother them. I should strive to do the same by not letting it bother me.
